Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco WebEx Event Center. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create specially crafted web content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger input validation flaws in the Cisco WebEx browser extensions for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on Windows-based systems and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the web browser application.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvf15036 to this vulnerability.

Tavis Ormandy of Google Project Zero and Cris Neckar of Divergent Security reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (browser extension version 1.0.12 for Chrome, browser extension version 1.0.12 for Firefox).
