Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 5000 Series Routers. A remote user can cause the target service to reload.

A remote user send specially crafted TCP packets to an interface on the target system to trigger a flaw in the StarOS Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) process and cause the target process to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvc44968 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target BGP service to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
