Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 5000 Series Routers. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted IPsec Internet Key Exchange (IKE) messages to cause the target ipsecmgr service to reload. As a result, all IPsec VPN tunnels will be terminated and new tunnels will not be established until the service has restarted.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvc21129 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause all IPsec VPN tunnels to be terminated.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
