Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Windows. A local user can modify files on the target system in certain cases.

A local user can exploit a permissions error in the DEFAULT folder (C:\\Users\\DEFAULT) contents to modify the files and folders that will be synchronized with the target user when the target user first logs in.

Client Operation and SOC at NTNU and Adam Alexander, Salisbury University, reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can modify files on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
