Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Device Guard. A local user can bypass security restrictions.

A local user can inject specially crafted code into a trusted PowerShell process to bypass the Microsoft Device Guard Code Integrity policy on the target system [CVE-2017-0215, CVE-2017-0218].

[Editor's note: CVE-2017-0215 only affects Widnows 2016 and Windows 10 Version 1607.]

Matt Graeber (@mattifestation) and Matt Nelson (@enigma0x3) of SpecterOps reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user can bypass Code Integrity policy on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
