Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Office. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2017-8510, CVE-2017-8512]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
A remote user can create a specially crafted Office document that, when loaded by the target user, will load a specially crafted DLL file and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2017-0260].
Lucas Leong (@_wmliang_) of Trend Micro, Jin Chen of Palo Alto Networks, Camillus Cai of Microsoft Office Security Team, and Arun Kumar Sharma (@arunsharma1609) reported these vulnerabilities.
