Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware Horizon View Client for Mac. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user can cause the service startup script to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with root privileges.

Florian Bogner from Kapsch BusinessCom AG reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   VMware has issued a fix (View Client 4.5).
