Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Spectrum Protect (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager). A local user can obtain passwords on the target system.

The system stores password information in the Windows Registry. A local user can access the passwords.

Clients and agents are affected.

Kestutis Gudinavicius from SEC Consult and Jakob H. Heidelberg and Flemming Riis at Improsec ApS reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain passwords on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued an advisory.
