Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning. A remote user can bypass authentication. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request via the web interface to bypass authentication and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the target system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvc98724 to this vulnerability.

rgod (via Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass authentication on the target system.

A remote user can execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (12.1).
