Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft .NET. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

The software does not properly validate certificates. A remote user can submit a specially crafted certificate that is marked as invalid for a specific use via Enhanced Key Usage taggings but will be allowed by the target system for that use.

Joonwoo Yu, Hyoung-Kee Choi of Sungkyunkwan University reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass certificate use controls on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.

A restart is required.
