Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft DirectX. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can make specially crafted system calls to trigger an object memory handling flaw in the Microsoft DirectX graphics kernel subsystem ('Dxgkrnl.sys') and execute processes on the target system with elevated privileges.

pgboy and zhong_sf of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
