Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Windows Kernel. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an object memory handling flaw and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

On Windows 7 systems, a local user can trigger this flaw to cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

Stefan Le Berre Sogeti ESEC R&D reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
