Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Windows Server Message Block. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to the target SMBv1 server to execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Viktor Brange of WDG Offensive Security Research Team and Swamy Shivaganga Nagaraju of MSRC Vulnerabilities & Mitigations reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.

A restart is required.
