Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Forefront Protection. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target system.
The Malware Protection Engine does not properly scan files. A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when scanned by the target Malware Protection Engine, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with LocalSystem privileges.
Microsoft Forefront Security for SharePoint SP3 is also affected.

The vendor has issued a fix (Microsoft Malware Protection Engine 1.1.13704.0), available via automatic update.
