Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Hyper-V. A local user on the guest system can obtain potentially sensitive information on the host system.

A local user on the guest system can run a specially crafted application to exploit an input validation flaw in the Hyper-V Network Switch and obtain potentially sensitive information from host system memory [CVE-2017-0168].

A local user on the guest system can run a specially crafted application to exploit an input validation flaw in Hyper-V and obtain potentially sensitive information from host system memory [CVE-2017-0169]. Windows Server 2008 versions are not affected.

Jordan Rabet, Microsoft Offensive Security Research Team, reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can obtain potentially sensitive information from memory on the host system.
