Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN capabilities can supply specially crafted namespace data to trigger an out-of-bounds memory read and write error and execute arbitrary code on the target system with kernel-level privileges.

Chaitin Security Research Lab (via ZDI) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN capabilities can obtain kernel-level privileges on the target system.
