Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can gain elevated privileges. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and access potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2017-0008, CVE-2017-0009, CVE-2017-0059].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2017-0018, CVE-2017-0149].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error in the JScript and VBScript engines and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2017-0040, CVE-2017-0130].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error in the JScript scripting engine and access potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2017-0049].

A remote user can bypass cross-domain policies to access data from one domain and inject it into a different domain to gain elevated privileges on the target system [CVE-2017-0154].

Ivan Fratric of Google Project Zero, Kai Song exp-sky of Tencent's Xuanwu Lab (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)), and Scott Bell of Security-Assessment.com reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
