Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Edge. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system. A remote user can spoof URLs.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error in the scripting engine and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2017-0010, CVE-2017-0015, CVE-2017-0032, CVE-2017-0035, CVE-2017-0067, CVE-2017-0070, CVE-2017-0071, CVE-2017-0094, CVE-2017-0131, CVE-2017-0132, CVE-2017-0133, CVE-2017-0134, CVE-2017-0136, CVE-2017-0137, CVE-2017-0138, CVE-2017-0141, CVE-2017-0150, CVE-2017-0151].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and access potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2017-0009, CVE-2017-0011, CVE-2017-0017, CVE-2017-0065, CVE-2017-0068].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will spoof URLs and browser content [CVE-2017-0012, CVE-2017-0033, CVE-2017-0069].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will bypass same origin policy and access potentially sensitive information from other domains [CVE-2017-0066, CVE-2017-0135, CVE-2017-0140].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2017-0034].

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.

A patch matrix is available in the vendor advisory.

On August 8, 2017, Microsoft updated their bulletin to announce that they issued a revised fix for CVE-2017-0071 for Windows 10 as part of the July 2017 security updates to fully correct the vulnerability.
