Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can bypass security restrictions.

A local user with root privileges can exploit a flaw in the do_shmat() function in 'ipc/shm.c' to bypass a protection mechanism for the mmap system call.

Impact:   A local user can bypass security controls on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (4.11).
