Impact:   Execution of arbitrary code via local system, Root access via local system


Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user can run a specially crafted program to trigger a double-free memory error in dccp_rcv_state_process() and execute arbitrary commands on the target system with root privileges.

Systems built with CONFIG_IP_DCCP support are affected.

Andrey Konovalov reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
