Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM AIX. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user exploit a flaw in sysproc and open a file with a specially crafted argument to cause the target system to crash.

Impact:   A local user can cause the target system to crash.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix for IBM AIX.
