Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Intel Ethernet Controller X710 and XL710. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target controller to stop sending and receiving data. A controller reset is required to return the system to normal operations.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target controller to stop sending and receiving data.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (NVM firmware 5.05).
