Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS). A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted URL to exploit an access control flaw in the HTTP traffic server component and connect to arbitrary hosts.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvc10834 to this vulnerability.

Micha Borrmann of SySS reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can connect to arbitrary hosts.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (X8.9).
