Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Apple iOS. A physically local user can bypass security restrictions.

A physically local user can supply specially crafted WiFi SSID, username, and password parameter values to trigger a buffer overflow and bypass the passcode screen lock and, if activated, the activation lock security feature.

A variation of this vulnerability exists using the screen rotation feature and Night Shift mode.

Impact:   A physically local user can bypass the Activation Lock protections on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has silently issued a fix for the original vulnerability (10.1.1).
