Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Palo Alto PAN-OS. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can set specially crafted environment variables to cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target system with elevated privileges.

Tavis Ormandy from the Google Security Team reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.0.20, 5.1.13, 6.0.15, 6.1.15, 7.0.11, 7.1.6).
