Description:   A vulnerability was reported in BIND. A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can return a recursive response containing a specially crafted DNAME answer to trigger a flaw in 'db.c' or 'resolver.c' and cause the target resolver to crash.

Tony Finch (University of Cambridge), Marco Davids (SIDN Labs), and others reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   Oracle has issued a fix.
