Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft GDI+. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. Microsoft .NET is affected.
A remote user can create specially crafted embedded font that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-3396].
A remote user can create specially crafted True Type font that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-7182].
A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an object memory handling error to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges [CVE-2016-3270].
A remote user can bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) security controls on the target system [CVE-2016-3209, CVE-2016-3262, CVE-2016-3263].
Anton Ivanov of Kaspersky Lab, Mateusz Jurczyk of Google Project Zero, and pgboy, zhong_sf of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team reported these vulnerabilities.
