Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASA. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted DHCP packets at specific rates to the target system to trigger a resource handling flaw and cause the target interface to become wedged and stop processing incoming traffic. A reload is required to return the interface to normal operations.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuy66942 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target interface to stop processing incoming traffic.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
