Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can send specially crafted DHCPv4 packets to the target DHCPv4 relay agent to cause the target DHCP process or device to crash.

Systems configured for DHCP and configured as a DHCPv4 relay agent are affected.

Nexus 5500 Platform Switches
Nexus 5600 Platform Switches

Nexus 9000 Series Switches in Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) mode
Nexus 9000 Series Switches in NX-OS mode

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCuq39250, CSCuq39250 , CSCus21733, CSCus21739, CSCus21739 , CSCut76171, CSCut76171 , and CSCux67182 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service or device to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
