Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in OpenSSL. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions. Citrix NetScaler is affected.

A remote user can send a specially crafted handshake message to trigger a memory leak in the DTLS SRTP extension parsing code and cause the target service to fail to free up to 64k of memory [CVE-2014-3513]. Server versions 1.0.1 are affected. Systems are affected even if not configured for SRTP. Systems compiled with OPENSSL_NO_SRTP defined are not affected.

The vendor was notified on September 26, 2014.

The LibreSSL project reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can send a specially crafted session ticket to cause the target service to fail to free memory [CVE-2014-3567].

The vendor was notified on October 8, 2014.

Impact:   A remote user can cause excessive memory consumption on the target system.
Solution:   Citrix has issued a fix for CVE-2014-3567 for Citrix NetScaler for the Lights Out Management (LOM) component firmware.

A fix is available for the following NetScaler products:

NetScaler Application Delivery Controller (ADC)
NetScaler Gateway
NetScaler Service Delivery Appliance
CloudBridge (NetScaler SD-WAN)
Command Center Appliance
NetScaler T1 (formerly Citrix ByteMobile)
