Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in VMware Tools. A local user on the guest system can obtain elevated privileges on the guest system.

A local user on an OS X guest (virtual machine) can trigger a null pointer dereference in the graphic acceleration functions to execute arbitrary code on the guest system with elevated privileges.

Dr. Fabien Duchene 'FuzzDragon' and Jian Zhu separately reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user on an OS X guest system can obtain elevated privileges on the guest system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (VMware Tools 10.0.9).
