Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux Kernel. A remote user on the local network can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. Google Android is affected.

A remote user on the local network can send a specially crafted Router Advertisement message to exploit a flaw in the ndisc_router_discovery() function in 'net/ipv6/ndisc.c' and set the IPv6 hop limit to a value that is too low.

Systems built with IPv6 networking support (CONFIG_IPV6) are affected.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   Google has issued a fix for CVE-2015-2922 for Google Android (Security patch level 2016-09-05).
