Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Wireless LAN Controller. A remote user can cause the target system to restart.

A remote user on the local network can send a specially crafted Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (wIPS) packet to trigger an input validation flaw and cause the target system to restart.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuz40263 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target system to restarted.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.0.140.0, 8.2.121.0, 8.3.102.0).
