Description:   A vulnerability was reported in F5 BIG-IP. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted network traffic to cause the target Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to restart and fail to process traffic.

Systems with Packet Filtering enabled are affected.

Virtual servers of all types are affected.

All protocols are affected.

The management interface is not affected.

The vendor has assigned ID 573124 and ID 472178 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can disrupt services on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
