Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted IPv6 Neighbor Discovery packets to trigger a processing logic error and cause the target device to stop processing IPv6 traffic.

Junos OS and JUNOSe are affected.

The vendor has assigned PRs 1183115, 1183124 (QFX), 1188939 (MX), and 1188949 (PTX) to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target device to stop processing IPv6 traffic.
Solution:   The vendor has described a configuration solution.
