Description:   A vulnerability was reported in libGD. A remote user can cause the target application to crash.

A remote user can create a specially crafted image that, when processed by the target application using the libGD library, will trigger an integer overflow in the _gdContributionsAlloc() function in 'gd_interpolation.c' and cause the target application to crash or consume excessive memory on the target system.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target application to crash or consume excessive memory on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.2.3).
