Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Palo Alto PAN-OS. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit an input validation flaw in the use of 'cron' to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges.

Felix Wilhelm, ERNW Research, reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.0.19, 5.1.12, 6.0.14, 6.1.12, 7.0.7, 7.1.2).
