Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos on SRX Series devices. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system in certain cases.

A local user can login with root privileges without a password.

SRX Series devices upgraded from Junos OS 12.1X45 or 12.1X46 to 12.1X46-D50 via the 'request system software' command with the 'partition' option are affected.

The vendor has assigned PRs 1118748 and 1153914 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (12.1X46-D65).
