Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XE. A remote authenticated user can cause the target device to restart.

A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted series of SNMP read requests with certain parameters for a specific object ID (OID) to trigger a double-free memory error and cause the target device to restart.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCux13174 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target device to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
