Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Windows Diagnostics Hub. A local user can gain system privileges on the target system.

The Windows Diagnostics Hub Standard Collector Service does not properly validate user-supplied input. A local user can run a specially crafted program to cause an arbitrary library to be loaded and gain system level privileges on the target system.

lokihardt (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)) and Qihoo 360Vulcan Team separately reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain system privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
