Description:   A vulnerability was reported in McAfee Email Gateway. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can send an attachment containing a null character to cause the target system to fail to identify the file name properly, allowing the remote user to bypass the scanning mechanism.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass the security scanning mechanism on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (7.6.404 HF128596).
