Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in EMC Data Domain. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system. A local user can modify passwords on the target system.

A local NFS client user can mount an NFS export as root [CVE-2016-0911].

A physically local user can modify their password without providing the current password. A physically local user with certain roles can modify the passwords of other users with the same role on the target system [CVE-2016-0912].

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can modify passwords on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.7.2.0; Advisory ESA-2016-062).
