Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Aironet. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user can supply specially crafted command-line interface parameter values to exploit an input validation flaw and execute arbitrary Linux shell commands on the target system with root privileges.

The following models are affected:

1830e
1830i
1850e
1850i
2800 Series
3800 Series

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuy64037 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
