Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Struts. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. IBM Storwize is affected.

The software performs double OGNL evaluation of attribute values assigned to certain tags. A remote user can send specially crafted attribute data to execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Romain Gaucher of Coverity reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix for IBM Storwize (7.5.0.8, 7.6.1.3).
