Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco 1000/9000 Series ASR Router. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted IPv6 Neighbor Discovery packets to trigger a processing logic error and cause the target device to stop processing IPv6 traffic.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCuz66542 and CSCuz79330 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target device to stop processing IPv6 traffic.
Solution:   No solution was available at the time of this entry.

The vendor is working on a fix.
