Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Trend Micro OfficeScan. A remote user can view files on the target system in certain cases.

A remote user that has compromised the target server's security agent protection mechanism can supply a specially crafted request to view files on target system that are located outside of the core product web root directory.

Tavis Ormandy of Google Project Zero reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can view files and directories located outside of the web root directory on the target system in certain cases.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11.0 SP1 Hot Fix 4889, 11.0 SP1 Critical Patch).
