Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux Kernel. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system. Google Nexus is affected.

A local user can trigger a memory corruption flaw in pipe_iov_copy_from_user() and pipe_iov_copy_to_user() to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with root privileges.

Red Hat reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   Google has issued a fix for the following Google Nexus devices:

Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9
