Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user on a powerpc-based systems can trigger a flaw in restoring machine specific registers and cause a kernel panic on the target system.

Impact:   A local user can cause the target system to crash.
