Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Unified Computing System Platform Emulator. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can supply specially crafted 'libclimeta.so' filename arguments trigger a heap overflow to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The Platform Emulator is affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCux68837 to this vulnerability.

Jacob Baines of Tenable Network Security reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
