Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XR on Cisco ASR 9000 Series Routers. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and symbol errors on the target receiving interface and cause an interface flap.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuv78548 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause an interface flap on the target device.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
